+1 I am with you, Rayth. They are either going to go for the low hanging fruit, IE cars that are easy to steal, or if they are going through the trouble of bypassing coded keys and disabling security systems, they are stealing something expensive and not terribly rare, so the resale does not stick out.

The crossfire would be the worst car to steal, limited market, not that expensive comparably, and a mercedes security system to boot LOL

The idea is valid, but most of these cars are garage queens, not parked in high crime areas unattended for days at a time IMHO
