Can we get someone on here with a DIY CAI and get their input before I go jump on the needswings bandwagon? How close are they to ambient temps?

It's 80 here everyday in Guam and while it is nice and warm and there's 80+ miles of white sandy beach coast and clear blue water. My intake temps climb up to 150F and even with spirited driving on the back roads it's still 120-130F. I know I'll see huge improvements if I get this number as close as possible to ambient.
