On the manual stick it has an RPM limiter, I think 4,000 RPM, this is if you try to rev it up prior to releasing the clutch. Its all in the manual.
Mark, I know about the rev. limiter. HDDP and I talked about it in a previous thread a while back. Besides, I wouldn't launch my car that hard anyway. I don't believe in abusing my cars, just enjoying them.
I was talking about breaking the tires loose even with the traction control turned off, and the darn TC let's you spin a little, then still shuts you down.
If you do a search on traction control, there's a whole thread about turning it off by removing a fuse, or getting a chip, everything I don't want to do.
