It's got a chain driving the cams. PGA gave you excellent advice about not overfilling it. I change my own oil, and I only put 8 qts back in. It doesn't hurt being a little low, but being over filled can cause damage by allowing the oil to "foam". Don't sweat it, remember "IJAC" (it's just a car). It's really no harder to take care of than the Miata or the Z's. Actually, it's easier to change the oil than my Miata is. Enjoy your new car!
