That happened to me (not in the Crossfire). An immigrant merged onto the freeway two cars in front of me. He hit the brakes and slowed way down. Everyone behind him got slowed down as well. Yup. Kinda standard here in Illinois. If you hit someone, under any circumstances, you're probably going to get a ticket for "Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident". If the cop is cool, he doesn't do it. This cop wasn't cool. He took over half an hour to write out the accident report and a ticket.
