You would have to search but supposedly if you try to start the car 30 times unsuccessfully then the RCM fries itself to avoid theft. In other words fix it instead cranking away or end up wth a bigger bill. An expensive theft deterrent. cruise
I wonder too "if" that is when the skreem module goes into "anti-theft mode" only or if it happens with a mechanical failure too.. not curious enough to test though..
