Yes, XF prices are pretty good here but running costs, oh boy - obscene is about right - cheapest road tax for a XF registered before 23 March 2006 is £270pa - but if registered after that it's £460pa - ouch - and premium unleaded is around £1.45/ltr (£6.60/gallon) Just spare us a thought next time you're filling up at little more than $4/gal...!
How much it evens out depends on how much driving you do, I guess.
