While many would disagree, I will concede that gas here is quite cheap. I need to fill up soon, better do it before prices rise a couple more pennies a gallon and gets above $3.70 a gallon for Premium.
To get back on topic, an old saying my dad had when buying batteries was this, "buy the heaviest battery in your size you can find". The reasoning behind this is that a heavier battery will have more lead, and therefore produce more power. This doesn't really apply to new AGM batteries and other newer compounds, but still rings true for the traditional lead-acid batteries.
Just for comparisons sake, I can get a battery for my car for about $89, it costs me $54 a year to register/tax my car and I paid $14,000 for it over a year ago.
