I had the same issue and ended up grinding about one thread off. Now I added .83 in spacers and had to order 55mm thread bolts and have the same thing so I'm grinding again. Just make sure you don't go too short, you want enough thread to ensure a secure wheel, sure wouldn't want to see your rear wheel roll by. By the way, most aftermarket wheels use conical (tapered) bolts, but the Xfire stock wheels are Ball type.
