Lug nut problem
I bought some aftermarket wheels for my ride and the problem I'm having is the lug nuts in the rear are grinding against something every time the wheel turns. I don't have that problem in the front with the same lug nuts. Any help would be much appreciated.
Oh.. and I hope you are aware the center bore on the new wheels needs to be the same as OEM wheels.. or you will HAVE TO HAVE hubcentric adapters.. unless you want a flintstone mobile..

thanks. I dont know what the e-brake mechanism is but im gonna buy some wheel spacers now.
By no means a wheel expert myself.. but 5-10 mm HUBCENTRIC spacers if you have fender clearance to kick them out..

do you have ball or taper lug bolts and do you have ball or taper wheels lugs holes.first make sure they match,,
if the noise is very little, you can grind off the end of the bolt,(just don't get the lug bolts hot,(too hot to hold is too hot) .so grind a little ,go to the nex lug ,keep going around until all are ground down enough to clear.
just so you know the thd part of the lug bolt should stick through the rim 5/8" jim

I have conical bolts which i guess are the same as tapered. I dont know if the wheels match. Im gonna have to find out now. The bolt thread length is 24mm so I ordered some 23mm length bolts to see if that will work. Its not much of a difference so Im not sure. I couldnt find anything shorter than 23mm. Thanks for posting
I had the same issue and ended up grinding about one thread off. Now I added .83 in spacers and had to order 55mm thread bolts and have the same thing so I'm grinding again. Just make sure you don't go too short, you want enough thread to ensure a secure wheel, sure wouldn't want to see your rear wheel roll by. By the way, most aftermarket wheels use conical (tapered) bolts, but the Xfire stock wheels are Ball type.
THIS. ^^ Jim is right here. Most people don't think about this. There is a difference.
