I am not quite 30 and I remember not sleeping for months before my 16th birthday and being there as soon as the BMV opened so I could get my license as soon as possible. Apparently that is no longer the norm....

Not if you consider my boy. He's waiting, with bated breath, for the delivery of his squeaky new 2013 Challenger SRT 8. And every one of his childhood buds are car, or truck, guys as adults.
It may have to do with being raised these days in either an urban or rural environment.
