so getting back to the threads orig topic... regardless how much one paid for their XF, this car has extreme potential. engine/drivetrain swaps...

i wouldn't mind dropping a more powerful engine...matching up to the orig tranny(!?)... for the weekend... and swap over to the 3.2 for the day to day drive.
what i'm saying is that i don't remember a 3.8 liter v8 ever being produced by mercedes, i never doubted a swap could be done...
