Original Tires on 2004 Coupe?
About a year ago I bought a 2004 coupe in showroom condition with approx. 28,000 miles. The tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 GS. They have mild tread wear, so it's hard to decide if they are OEs (which were driven gently) or replacements. They seem a little dry which makes me think that they're OEs. Last week the left rear went flat in my driveway due to a leaking bubble that suddenly appeared on the sidewall, so the tire is now garbage. I found out that the Eagle F1 GS is out of production, so I'm thinking of buying two Eagle F1 Assymetrics for the rear only, or a complete set of Sumitomo HRT IIIs. In any case, does anyone know what was the original OEM tire that came on this car? It says on the sidewall that the tire was "Made in Germany" which leads me to believe that it's original. Any knowledgeable replies would be greatly appreciated.
