Original Tires on 2004 Coupe?
About a year ago I bought a 2004 coupe in showroom condition with approx. 28,000 miles. The tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 GS. They have mild tread wear, so it's hard to decide if they are OEs (which were driven gently) or replacements. They seem a little dry which makes me think that they're OEs. Last week the left rear went flat in my driveway due to a leaking bubble that suddenly appeared on the sidewall, so the tire is now garbage. I found out that the Eagle F1 GS is out of production, so I'm thinking of buying two Eagle F1 Assymetrics for the rear only, or a complete set of Sumitomo HRT IIIs. In any case, does anyone know what was the original OEM tire that came on this car? It says on the sidewall that the tire was "Made in Germany" which leads me to believe that it's original. Any knowledgeable replies would be greatly appreciated.
If they say made in Germany they're probably the originals. My 04 came stock off the lot with Continental Contouring which were also made in Germany. I was only able to get my first set of German rear replacements before I was told they were discontinued.

Mfr. and model _Michelin Pilot Sport 2—Coupe Limited; Continental SportContact 2—Coupe, Roadster & Roadster Limited
Size and type 225/40ZR18—front, 255/35ZR19—rear
These are from the 2005 spec sheet and are for Limited and Base models but the tires are the same I believe. The Michelin are summer tires and the Continentals are all season tires unless I am mistaken.

Dave is correct. They came from the factory with Michelin PS2s or you could get a $225 upgrade to the Continental All-Seasons. I bought a second set of wheels with the Continentals and can tell you from experience on mulitple Dragon trips and several track days here in FL..........the Michelin's are far superior to the Continentals. That holds true in the rain as well but I can't speak for driving in the white stuff.........never wanted to try it.
I'm looking at Tire Rack right now!
Recommendation, go for Continental Extreme Contact DW, German tire for a German car. I put Extreme Contact DW on mine and they are perfect match. I went 225/40R18 in front and 275/30R19 on the back and it work perfectly!
If you want a good summer tire and don't need an all season tire I recommend the Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
I have just purchased my second set of these for my 2004 Crossfire.
Compare them to the OEM summer tires Michelin Pilot Sports.
Similar tire for a lot less $$
I can also confirm that the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS tires you have on your car currently are not OEM as a few others here have said

I bought the Sumitomo HRT IIIs from Tire Rack due to price and good reviews. Not worried much about performance or durability - as an old geezer, I drive my X-Fire only around 3,000 miles a year, and very gently at that. I'm not a "preformance" driver, so my main consideration was price. Two of my Mandrus wheels have curb rash, so I got a local wheel shop to refinish the wheels and mount and balance the new Sumis for $270. My first thought was to replace the rears only with the newer Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics (keeping the old style Eagle F1s on the front), but for just $100 more I could get a full set of Sumitomos and have the same tread pattern all around.
I purchased the roadster new and took the $225 all-season Conti option over the summer Michelins. (No idea why, because it has never been driven in the winter.) I replaced the Contis at about 42k with the Hankook. There was quite a bit of tread left in the fronts but the rears were down to the wear-bars.
