I am just leaning towards the side of caution, i wasnt going to trust year old gas in my engine with the mods i have. Also i trailered it to the autoracing this past weekend, so it would be right into performance driving, after warming up during idle. If i was going to drive it normaly on the road prior, i wouldnt have a problem with doing that to burn off the old fuel, i just dont have my car on the road this year.



Draining the fuel was pretty straight foward, no fires to be worried about
I just pulled the inlet line off the fuel filter, and hooked up an external fuel pump away from under the car and let it pump it into jerry cans. Got it down to just above empty, then clamped the line back up, put some fresh 94 in, started her up, checked for leaks, then buttoned up the plastic cover, and off to the races
