As most of you know, I recently changed my differential ratio, from 3.07 to 3.27. after having lots of
trouble with the tcm and the tranny,,,, Rudy, ( the builder of my car) send me a tcm, that actually worked, and did not cause my transmission to slip between second and third,(that tranny is now toast) because of that , I had to rebuild (replace) my transmission, and replace the TCM with a new one from Rudy, and I am now running the 3.27 gears, There is no more limp mode, there is no more slipping between second and third., there is no more problems whatsoever with the transmission or the TCU, (track time) First pass was 11.044 @ 127mph.And that was with the IAT's around 130. Backed that up with 11.49 @ 126 mph
I cannot reveal to you the new transmission used or what was done internally, but I can tell you there's a lot of work and a whole bunch of extra clutches. I can also tell you, externally there is a small mod to be made so that it fits in the car.
The transmission gears,,, first ,second ,third ,fourth, and fifth are the same as the original srt6 tranny ,when the V8 was installed we used the SL55 transmission ,also same as the E55 tranny. jim
example
The limited has the smallest amount of clutches
the srt6 has more than the limited but less than the sl,or E55
the transmission that Rudy used has more clutches and is better than all the above
