Default Re: Bushes / Steering or Just Me?

Its probably just in your head. The Audi uses a rack and pinion steering system while the Crossfire uses a recirculating ball system. Rack and pinion setups are known for being much tighter in the slop department than the recirculating ball.
Both cars are also setup different in pressures. The Audi is meant for an easy, pleasure drive while the Crossfire is setup for a heavier feel to give the driver more feedback.

By the way, I still giggle when I hear the British refer to them as bushes. Bushes to an American are plants that grow in your yard. We call the rubber joints bushINGs. Just some useless info in case you cared.
