Many here use the
Rotex Gold Brake Pads which are Kevlar-blended, semi-metallic. But for the price you can't beat the Centric Posi-Quiet Ceramics.
As for the battery, even if you have the last production 2008 Xfire off the line, that battery is already over the 72 month limit. Everyone should have replaced their OEM Varta white battery by now.
