Those parts are wrapped around a mandrel and then vulcanized under intense heat and pressure. You can't just cut two in half and melt them together. A member here tried but he's running a Needswings setup now. This is something you're using to channel air into the supercharger. I would be choosy one what components I'd trust to do the job. Nothing would make a good day go bad than having a home made job crack and have dirt and debris take out your supercharger or worse, the engine.
