I presume the "he" to which you refer, is the fab tech guy?

I guess I was looking at the whole intake.
An afterthought was that maybe 2-3mm of insulation (silicone?) could be continually sprayed (built up) on the internals of these after market tubes. You'd retain the bling but loose some ID, but heat is our worst enemy.
I was even wondering how you could drag some of this CAir and push it into the valley around the cooler.
