I really enjoyed reading all the answers to your questions...so here's my take. I was a bowtie guy for years. Corvettes/Camaros was the norm around here. My wife wanted something different and found a XF N/A coming off lease. I had not known about nor did I particularly like the crossfire, but had never driven one so I was game. I looked at it and for the 1st time actually liked the lines of the roadster, especially with the top up. So, I didn't like the deal she was given, so off to search for another. That's when I discovered the SRT version. I said, hell, that has to fast if those guys built it. So, we found a deal and bought it, and brought it home on a cold November day. Within minutes, I had fell in love with the car and it's performance. I won't rattle on, but I now own two, both modified, both stay with about anything in the quarter mile, and damn near everything in the half mile as I recently found out. I miss the vettes, but I don't miss spending that kind of money when I know either I have now will stay with 90% of the vettes out there. Problems, a CPS sensor and an IC pump w/ sensor, on the roadster, nothing on the coupe.
