I stopped by a VERY rural tavern in northern Michigan last week, the three people in there had never heard of a crossfire. The first reponse was "I can't believe Chrysler built something like that..."

I explained to him that, while it WAS technically a Chrysler design, it was not built by them and was of Mercedes/Karmann origin.

One of my Brothers, the one I visited this week, lives up there. He's a retired GM executive - he and his wife were impressed, and when I told him I paid $12,000 for it with 44,000 miles, Helen''s repsonse was, "Well, we've been thinking of a convertible". They live so far north, and so close to Lake Michigan's snowfalls - they'd drive it MAYBE 6 months a year.
