The valve plate is the solenoid plate.
Here is a picture of the two together, the electrical plate is the top part and has the red marks on it. It is the matte silver assembly with the black electrical connector sticking out the bottom right hand side with the white plastic cover on the top right side. It may not be exactly like ours but is from a NAG1 transmission, I've forgotten where I got it from.

how much oil do I need to replace if I change the conductor plate. Also where is a low cost source for the oil
