Turn key off.
Press and hold... turn key on and keep holding unitl the beep!

Just like that - no delays.

Next time I reset mine, I'll make a VIDEO of it!
Might do that tomorrow after work if I'm bored, like I say, I only use the thing as a guide, when it gets to around 3000 miles, I look in my book and see how long it's really been. I change at 5500 or so after the previous change. At that time, the FSS usually says I have 2500 to 4000 to go!


EDIT: Time for bed... I"m gonna reset it tomorrow after work for the hell of it, and I'll make a short (2 minutes?) video and post it on Youtube and link it here!
That way, there is no confusion. This comes up on here all the damn time and a VIDEO is worth more than all this text!
