2005 Chrysler Crossfire – technical Chrysler Nofire (6 speed, 6 cyl)
My wife has driven it a total of 6 times, she's to the point of tears right now. Here's what I got:
Was working fine, bought it, drove several times, one morning, won’t start.
Cracks, fires, stalls. Did this three times. After three times, it will not crank again until battery is disconnected, then it repeats the problem. With foot on throttle, cranks, revs, stalls, cranks, revs, stalls, then no cranks. Disconnect battery, 3-5 minutes, problem repeats. When it does fire, it fires for 3 seconds.
Imported from the "other" thread.. has this turned out to be anything other than the skreem module? Hey.. do you have a second key???

PLEASE HELP...START ISSUE!!!! ECM? RCM? Skreem?
Hi Guys. I have an '05 Limited Conv that won't start unless I put the key in ignition in the ON position and (2nd) key in the drivers side door in the lock position and hold it there for approx thirty seconds and then the ECM? RCM?
Skreem? clicks and RESETS( something re security?) Then I turn the ignition switch to the off position( key in door is out) and then to the start position and the car will start. Once in awhile I need to take the battery cables off and then go through the same sequence, and whala, it starts!
No check engine or codes show!
Battery checks!
Key FOB's are working( lock, unlock, start etc)!
Checked fuses!
It's seems to be something that is RESETTING! Dreading having to take it to a dealer!
