Either way, his is not a turbo either, it is an electric supercharger that IIRC was fairly expensive, like more than the V8 I was looking at...
Like I said, I really hope someone can prove me wrong, but if I nickel for every guy who came on here and said it was easy, I would have a V12TT in my XF

That last part is funny lol, mainly cause it's true. But Web's build was a rotrex supercharger. It was belt driven. It worked and ran and all was good but he tore it apart and sold it or something because of family stuff that came up. The problem I had with his approach was the piggyback... That's not legal in any state that smogs. Annnd I think you're right John on it being overly expensive lol.
Either way, Bob told him how he could have a factory setup, he just didn't want to go that direction. If the kit was in place, the wires ran to the necessary places, the ECU work would be relatively easy... Immo swapped from original ECU to new ECU for key, VIN and Immobilizer data. The rest is already in the ECU. Of course this is provided you get the right ECU to start out with. If the Merc came with the IR key, then you will get stuck where I am right now. Since the SRT uses our key then even an Immo swap to an SRT ECU will work.
