I am not sure if my input is as good an Anthony's, but I have had dip on wheel center caps and a front bumper of our DDs for quite a while. Each have been washed more than a few times with high pressure water and even in a bind, through the full touch car wash, so issues thus far.

They do tell you it will only last roughly 3 years, but I don't know anyone who has had it on that long.

I personally think it is more about how good of a job you do. If you leave an edge exposed and water can catch it, the likelihood of it peeling is significantly higher. If you prep with a good cleaner/degreaser and the surface is good, it will stick incredibly well...
