That's debatable. I found a V8 with 49xxx miles for $250. Shipped to my garage it was $510. If someone found a good deal on parts for a turbo, like a junkyard and a repair kit, then it wouldnt be that much at all. The expense typically is the ECU work... But I just said I would do the first for free, and if it's as easy as I think it would be (see quote below) then I would do it for cheap for the rest, or tell people how to do it.

As far as what I have read... no. Some may have had DAS with developer but I wan't to see more precise data. I have to with my swap. Besides, most people just send it off anyway. Look how many people went to Beckmann for coding their ECU. I just got a new V6 ECU and coded it to my car in about 10 minutes, and bypassed any need for DAS.
