Thanks or that post. I forwarded it to the dealer, so hopefully we can get to the bottom of this! I did send a message to Smokey and he says his car has been running normally since the RCM replacement. Hopefully that's the culprit in my case as well! Thanks again for the input everyone.
Also, my battery was replaced about 1.5 years ago. The alarm started randomly going off and shortly thereafter I ran into starting/power issues...turns out the battery was the source of the problem.
Sounds good - but be aware - before the dealer sells you a new or refurbished RCM, there is a thread on here on how to fix them if you have a soldering iron and basic soldering skills....it's not that difficult. Up to you for the final decision, but I thought you should know.
