On the other note, of belt raps. Robs is the only one I really trusted to hold up under the stress of what I do. I liked tighed1's cheap belt rap and have the parts to do it, but after seeing the stress put on that 1 grade 8 bolt, I decided to go with Rob's set up. Just my take on it. But, I haven't had any belt issues at all. I keep spares around but haven't had to use them.
I am talking about the claimed 75% wrap which is not possible in practicality.Your post does not address that at all. Or are you claiming a 75% wrap? You are talking about something that I made no mention of, I guess you misread or misunderstood what I said.

A 75% and greater wrap is possible on larger pulleys, but at this size it becomes nigh on impossible. You just have to use your imagination to see the problem.
