Hi. I need advice from honest Crossfire owners. I'm looking at a 06 Crossfire 6 speed. It has 8000k hids (I have no idea what that means) and 140,000 miles. I'm a single Mom putting myself through nursing school and this is the car my 16 year old son wants. He got a settlement from fathers death and is spending every penny on this car. I'm scared that with that many miles that the car will not be reliable and I've heard others say how expensive parts and labor are on these cars. I can not afford to help him in any way if this car needs repairs. If you we're in my shoes would you advise me to allow him to purchase this car? I want him to have the car of his dreams but not if I can't afford to buy tires or help with repairs. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
