I have always wondered how they got away with charging an upgrade fee for something that actually cost them less. I guess it is because we never really had a choice in that "option".

Repeating that same logic by adding more options that allow a higher sticker and cost less would result in a fully optioned out car that actually cost them less to manufacture than a base model...a great business model...if you can stay in business doing that...
