I cannot see what you will try to do. One part beeps and the other part does not.
That tells me the feature is set to work.
The only possibility is that with three wires the program has to change on one part so that a different pair of wires are selected for each event. This could explain why one works and the other does not. Frankly though I doubt it.

I am at a loss to explain why the OP managed to buy a part with the MB and Chrysler numbers identical to his original part after buying a totally different Chrysler numbered part, presumably that new part number was on the sticker on the bag.

The layout of the engraving and printing is different and the other numbers do not correspond to each other but the MB and Chrysler parts are the same on both.
