ABS/ESP errors report through the DRBIII interface (DAS).. I'm guessing your mechanic just hooked up a regular "check engine" DRBII code checker. Mine have been lit up and "non functioning" for a year now with no brake issues.. And burnouts don't require a "disable" button first.. LOL.
