Lets throw a wild guess out here.. It doesn't happen when cruise is off-just coasting?
I've noticed "downhill".. she does something or another to maintain the cruise control speed.
My experience is on a fairly steep downhill grade.. and she does much more than "slight" rpm drop.
Could be left field here but I'm thinking your going to be chasing a "by design" "problem" per say..
