Tires are not too great sometimes and are way out of round etc. and sometimes are poorly mounted and are not up to the lip evenly. Also they have may have been slammed into a curb.
I hear you! It amazes me what some folks are doing to their cars, lowering them and tilting the tire in (negative camber) on expensive tires for the looks and just replacing the tires at $400 bucks a peice!

I don't mind it keeps me in business

I like my side hugging the road safe and fun!
