I am a new owner of a Crossfire Coupe and I do have a question on the outside air temperature sensor. My car is fixed at -36F and never changes. I located the sensor in the lower grille and it look OK but I haven't checked out behind it - is it connected to a wire to the dashbourd and if so is that a possibility that it has become disconnected? Is it also possible that the sensor doesn't work?
I would love to hear an answer on this as although its a minor detail I would just like to get it working.
If you pop the panel out that the probe is sticking thru, you can see if the cable connector is attached.
If it is, I'd order a new probe - the wires go right to the instrument cluster module, and I am SURE the wires did not come off at THAT end.
