I too just inherited a 2005 conv crossfire. Six speed and I am in love! She has some miles but I'm going to enjoy makinger her track/road ready. My Battery has a crack in the top and leaks acid on to the terminal. No problems yet, but the thread was titled2005 Crossfire convertible limited so I checked it out. Just so happens I'll be shopping for a battery and I would love advice on if a Walmart Battery will suffice in my mostly Mercades Engine bay. I found some at Autozone, Advandced etc that have 5 year warranty. Any reson I should go to the dealer for this battery? Any reason I shouldn't? Im comming out a 335i n54 and there were only a few aftermarket parts that would work as designed or last. I will certainly use the search bar next to see if there are already battery threads in place.
