I took the route you suggested, and got the "we have to have the tire inspected, and if it's road hazard there is no coverage" answer.

They said they had tires set aside for Chrysler owners, but folks I spoke with, and I've spoken with two different supervisors in each of two departments: Customer Care and Warranty, at the number you gave, were not aware of any special actions for Crossfire/PS2 customers.
