Thanks, so there is no powering the AMP from the radio - old or new (is it always on? the AMP when the cars on). So you just bypass the speaker wires at the connector and got into the AMP with the RCA's from the new unit.
Damn, thought i could power the AMP at the connector and use the speakers connections... Little more work than planned and good thinking - i might forget and not run those line worrying about the speakers
