but I believe if that is oem crank sensor.. it's cheaper and more common of a failure, and changing it out won't hurt- and will eliminate a most likely future issue.

If it is replaced it should be a BOSCH and do not forget it. Replacing it with anything else will lead to an even earlier failure.
The so called OEM sensor is a Bosch so if it works keep it.
In this case I would change it and see if it will allow the car to start. Broken sensor = no sparks.
Does the fuel pump work? Can you hear it?
On the Crossfire the CPS seems to go out intermittently when it gets hot. All we know about this case is the car will not start. Full story required I think.
