I hear you and your not the first to tell me this. My current tune isn't lean. I'm at 11.8 more or less depending on the temperature of the engine and IAT's. At colder temperatures it's a few tenths leaner and hotter it richens up a bit. I have my reasons for resisting the injector change. However, when the need becomes crystal clear, I'll make the change.

I think you are missing one of the points behind the injector upgrade. Your ECU measures injector duty cycle, can pull timing and adjust (to a degree) to prevent you going lean. You can be maxing out on your injectors and still maintain an acceptable AFR, but never realize the full power at WOT. Now, maybe you do realize all of this and just don't want to spend the money yet.
