I recommend anyone wanting to go with the 550cc injectors to do so only if you can dyno tune it. Jesse's log looks a lot like mine did, pig rich... I gave up on remote tuning with the 550's. However, here is what I used:

Bosch EV14 550cc injectors: EBay $44/ea

Wiring adapters EV6 to EV1: Amazon $52

I have a set of 6 of these Bosch EV 14 injectors that are N.I.B. that I may be selling as I don't think I'm going to need them. I'll know in about a week.

A popular aftermarket is Bruce with TTM who has worked with a few of our members with fuel system upgrades.

I can wait (have to wait) because Rudy just sold his last available 62mm Karmen SC Pulley. I've re-posted on the Wanted To Buy section of the forum trying to find a pulley (maybe someone bought one and never installed it?). I suspect it's going to be difficult to come up with one though . . .

Give this link a try. This is how I got mine. This is the original fabricator. http://gonesmart.com/index.php?route...&product_id=68

Are you saying you bought the pulley through that link / webpage and you actually received the product from them? Did it come with this special spacer washer that is needed to install the pulley?

Do you have any direct contact information for that fabricator?

I was very suspicious of that website page because there was no "contact us" link. I figured they would take my money and I would get nothing in return with no avenue to find them.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. I'll send you a PM with all the info before the day is over. Need to get home first.

I don't know of anyone that has had any problems through the manufacturer direct. Here is the original build thread Rudy started.

Yes, I previously reviewed that entire thread that was started by Rudy. The question is whether or not that link for to the "gonesmart" website is legit and really represents the manufacturer of the 62mm Karmen SC pulley. That Webpage just looks kind of phony to me. I'll see what information LENIN has for me. I'd feel better having some direct contact information and dealing directly with the manufacturer rather than buying through that web page.

I've researched all the appropriate threads and I believe I should install a SL55(AMG?) fuel pump (to provide increased fuel volume) needed with my 62mm Karmen supercharger pulley install. (note I am keeping the stock crank pulley so running non-stacked). I just would like to throw this out here to get some verification that the SL55(AMG?) fuel pump is the currently recommended fuel pump mod. Is the OEM SL55(AMG?) made by Pierburg or Bosch? Also I'd like to confirm that will be a direct bolt in installation, right? What's the latest and greatest advice??

It's a direct bolt in. Same electrical and hose connections. I wasn't running lean but wanted to run stacked. I have a 178 crank pulley and installed my 65 mm Code3. It was so lean I never got to redline and took it off. With the Pierburg and putting the Code3 back on the AFR's came down to 13 up top with the same tune. It helps is all I can say.

I have the EC 181 crank pulley and NW DCAI and manifolds with Inmotion tune and was flattening out near redline. The SL55 pump fixed that but I am about to install the NW adjustable regulator and fuel filter, just to be sure.

All good advice so far . . . THANKS for making the effort to post your thoughts & experience . . . Looks like Rob will be getting more of my dollars for a NW adjustable regulator and fuel filter . . .

You and me both. Just about all of my play money goes into the Crossfire. I need to stop this foolishness, I don't even race it, except for the occasional street encounter.

Until you get some bigger injectors this will continue to be a problem for just about everyone that does a pulley upgrade. The volume and the pressure will do little to solve this if your injectors are maxed out. If you look at some of my older videos and compare then to my last on you will see what a difference the new injectors made. Granted I am still .4ish higher than I would like at WOT but we have only tuned it once on the dyno. The next tune we will fatten it up a tad and we should have some pretty good AFR's

I hear you and your not the first to tell me this. My current tune isn't lean. I'm at 11.8 more or less depending on the temperature of the engine and IAT's. At colder temperatures it's a few tenths leaner and hotter it richens up a bit. I have my reasons for resisting the injector change. However, when the need becomes crystal clear, I'll make the change.

I think you are missing one of the points behind the injector upgrade. Your ECU measures injector duty cycle, can pull timing and adjust (to a degree) to prevent you going lean. You can be maxing out on your injectors and still maintain an acceptable AFR, but never realize the full power at WOT. Now, maybe you do realize all of this and just don't want to spend the money yet.

It's not money related. TNF related. (tuning nightmare fears) I don't see evidence of timing being pulled on my data logs until the ECT's get hot. I see 24º at the top of 3rd. and 4th. Dyno sheet doesn't show any slowing of the hp curve at the top. But keep on convincing me, it's starting to work. Tell me I'll be easily faster than Steve and I'm in!

Same here Les. I don't see this in my logs either. We will look at this when I can get onto a dyno

I understand. The thing is that I log very similar to your numbers but additionally my IDC numbers get up to 100% and that's what makes me think of larger injectors. As far as FTS (faster than Steve) subject, I'll leave it to you and Anthony to deal with.
