PS - one always goes more than the other because when the engine twists - one is under tension and the other is under compression.
Yeah, the left one likes to break more. I'm finding more info on this as I await my car back. You can try two things, but I don't recommend the second unless you're really not sure. First, try driving slower, keep your hand on the shifter and see if it stops moving. For the second, in a safe place, gently power brake it (yes I know how it sounds) until it either slips the tire, or if the left mount is broken, it will lurch up and forward slightly, then when you let off it will kind of thunk back into place. Like I said, not my favorite testing method but it works
