Do the SRT/6's have the notorious PSE pump? I guess so - same car - Chrysler wouldnt just change that bit of complex garbage.
As for the water issues that the R170 SLK32/230's PSE experience - maybe not - you dont read about them much over here. Which is interesting because one of the claims over on the MB boards is that the water in the PSE unit is generated from the pump itself and subsequent
condensation, and not because rain water runs down the yellow pneumatic tubes and into an upright PSE unit (early days).
If condensation was the case - SRT6 owners dont seem to experience the same issue - so maybe afterall it was the rain issue and the inverting of the PSE unit solved the problem.
