Do I need to take the pulley off first, or just use the hex boss and turn it lock it in the relaxed belt position to access the second bolt? I may be wrong about the two bolts. Regardless, what size socket and would I need a specialized wrench to remove the tensioner bolts from the engine?
Again, my thanks in advance for any help,

HI KJN,If you are going to remove the entire assembly(pulley and tensioner) then just remove the belt with the 17mm socket counterclockwise, hold the wrench with one hand and use the other to remove the belt from the pulley;once the belt is off, then release the tensioner slowly.Locate the two TORX BOLTS the visible and invisible;use your sense of touch for the lower one;remove both with an E11 or E12 socketYou can get a set 9 E torx sockets for $10.99 at HARBORFREIGHT.It is cheaper than buying a couple of sockets and they are guaranteed for LIFE.The whole assembly should come off unless your car has a shock damper attached to the TENSIONER then, it will be three(3)bolts to remove with the sockets mentioned above. It is advisable to also replace the shock DAMPER.I just did this with my roadster crossfire and I got everything from E-Bay and AMAZON; the parts were made in Germany and they were NEW.It takes two to three days to get them via PRIORITY MAIL.
