Default Re: Checking interest on my SRT

Thanks guys---She is nice Doc and I love the color!

Starting yesterday, I have a standing offer from a dealer friend for $14,400, because this is clean wholesale and he would not have a buy fee with a hand sale or even a detail so he said because the car is so clean---It did, however, take 15 minutes to get to this price.
Since he can not use the warranty, I would get some money (very little is my guess, but I have not checked yet) back because I have not used it at all.
So, I should net wholesale right at $15,000.

Of course, I was hoping for a little more because I know my friend would get it, and I understand this since I have been in the business. He would (and I am guessing here) start in the high $16's or low $17's and work from there and THEN---SELL---a warranty if he could. I have watched him sell warranties for $1795 and they are at best HALF the Chrysler Factory Plan when it comes to coverage. His would be a full 3 years at that price but the SC and other parts would not be covered, if I remember correctly without paying more money over the $1795.

I was thinking something in the higher $16's, since 20 months worth of coverage is already in this price and the tires are "deep".
But I wanted to hear what was actually trading hands---The old "money talks" thing. Actual sales tell the story.

So, if anyone knows what a coupe went for with under 25k, this would be great.

Thanks again, Jimmy
