Well, an RCM resoldering would be a good idea as a first step. Easy and cheap, it is often the cause of "No Cranks" and some "Cranks but no start".

The pulse module DOES do the job of energizing the starter, but I don't know that, in four years on here, I've ever heard of one going bad.
