I'd take them out, inspect and then clean and regap them if they look OK.

Why waste money on something that makes little difference (if any) if there is no misfiring. Plugs last much longer with electronic ignition, not like the old days when the electrodes could get eroded away and a bus could pass through the gap. Damp wires could look like a firework display when the rubber was cracked.


Regap them properly as that centre electrode is really delicate, break it and it's toast.
