Any mfr incl. Chrysler's incentives vary monthly, sometimes even more frequently than that. Lease and sale specials are combos of mfr and dealer goals. In January when Xfire sales were a little slow there was actually a rebate/discount going on straight sales, then it got yanked. Recently Chrysler has been pushing the lease, offered directly thru Chrysler Financial rather than a 3d-party....what makes the lease cheap is that it has a sub-1% interest rate built in, blowing the 3d-party lease rates away. Also they have been combining it with a national program whereby every dealer can take 1/2 their inventory and call a car a "demo" even if it has 2 miles on it, then knock $2500 off the price. All this because, again, sales esp. during winter have not been maybe what they want for this car, and it needs to be on the road to advertise itself.

The lease program is good thru 3/31 I think but there may be new incentives come Mar. 2. Or maybe not.
